HOT ASPHALT
Just a few facts of our company.
Hot mix asphalt concrete is produced by heating the asphalt binder to decrease its tackiness, and drying the aggregate to remove moisture from it before to mixing. The paving must be done while the asphalt is hot enough. Hot Mix is a combination of approximately 95% stone, sand, or gravel bound together by bitumen (Asphalt cement).
The resulting Hot Mix Asphalt is loaded into trucks for transport to the paving site. The asphalt is placed, and then compacted using a heavy roller, which is driven over the asphalt.
